Dungeness February 22nd - 25th 2006
On Wed 22nd Feb, myself and two friends drove down to Dungeness in Kent.
It was our intention to see for ourselves this place that we had heard described as England's only desert and to experience the feeling of living next to a nuclear power plant in an area that has been named a nature reserve, and home to many endangered species.
It became interesting to see our individual reactions and experiences during our time there and the progression of our work as we had to adapt and change our ideas and intial plans to fit in to our, at times, very hostile environment.
My work was intended to focus of the ideas of protection and shelter and, following my ideas from the Ridgeway, the use of markings and cairns by ancient man

The Ridgeway Walk January 9th - 11th 2006
On Jan 9th 2006, I began my journey along the ridgeway, a road running for about 40 miles and dating back over 5000 years.
It was my intention to explore the land through a very physical connection to it and through the act of walking to connect with the history and energy of the earth.
